Cow Welfare

By establishing Gaushalas across India, Patanjali provides sanctuary to around 200 cows, including breeds like Haryana and Sahiwal. From 2016 to 2019, Patanjali distributed 22,830 tons of silage at minimal cost, addressing the nutritional needs of cattle and ensuring their health and well-being. This initiative, manifesting as ‘Pashu Ahaar’, supports the agricultural sector, promotes animal husbandry, and enhances rural livelihoods, reflecting Patanjali's dedication to holistic community care.
